Majority ruling on Shakilus death

Shakilus Townsend was repeatedly stabbed in south London

Jurors trying seven teenagers accused of murdering a boy lured to his death in a "honey trap" have been told they can return majority verdicts.

The Old Bailey heard Shakilus Townsend, 16, was stabbed to death in Thornton Heath, south London, last July.

Six males, aged between 17 and 19, and the girl, all deny murder. The girl, 16, admitted luring him to the spot.

The jury, which began deliberating on 25 June, can return a verdict on which 10 of the 12 jurors agree.
