Man charged with mother's murder

A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his mother.

Police said Wehinmi Metsagharun, of no fixed address, would appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The body of Rose Jatto, 61, was found in her home in Kenbury Gardens, Camberwell, south-east London on 4 January.

A post mortem examination said the cause of death was stab wounds to the neck.
