Two arrests over suspicious death

A man and a 14-year-old boy have been arrested over the suspicious death of a man in east London.

The 50-year-old was found unconscious in Beaumont Road, Newham, at about 0730 BST on Saturday. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

Police said formal identification would be conducted after a post-mortem examination had been carried out later.

A 28-year-old man and the teenager both remained in custody on Sunday at east London police stations.
