A lorry-load of sportswear intended for players at Wimbledon has been stolen.
The Adidas kit was stolen from a truck parked overnight in east London, at about 0400 BST on 18 June but police have only just revealed the details.
It is understood thieves broke in and took 390 boxes of shirts, shorts and other clothing after targeting the truck in Dock Road, Newham.
The items were bound for Adidas-sponsored players to wear during the tennis championships.
An Adidas spokeswoman said: "Adidas can confirm that boxes containing kit en route to the Wimbledon Championships were stolen last week.
"However Adidas was able to replace all the items within 24 hours so none of the tennis players were affected."
