Man stabbed to death in pub row

A man was stabbed to death following a row in an east London pub on Easter Monday, police have said.

Daniel Leahy, 45, was found with multiple stab wounds in the Victoria Pub in Axe Street, Barking, and died at the scene.

Police believe Mr Leahy, from Barking, was involved in a row with two male customers before the attack. Mr Leahy died from stab wounds to the chest.

Two men, aged 38 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of murder over the death.

The 39-year-old-man, who was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, remains in police custody.

The 38-year-old man, who was arrested on Tuesday, has been bailed to return in May.
