Three teenagers have appeared at the Old Bailey to deny murdering a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death at a youth charity event.

Stephen Lewis was knifed in the chest when trouble broke out at the church hall in Plaistow, east London, in January. He died later in hospital.

Rissasy Nyimbi, 18, from Canning Town, east London, appeared in court with two other youths aged 16 and 17.

They were remanded in custody to face trial on 7 September.
