Two arrested over street stabbing

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 25-year-old man was stabbed during a street fight in south-east London.

Paul Martin, from Blackheath, was found by officers called to reports of a fight in the early hours of 29 March in Greenwich Church Street, Greenwich.

He died from blood loss due to stab injuries, a post-mortem test found.

Two 27-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody in south London.

The motive of the killing is not known and police said they were keeping an open mind about it.
