A man has been remanded in custody accused of murdering a 26-year-old man who was shot as he left a party at a primary school in north-west London.

Shawn Callum, of Maida Vale, was found outside Stonebridge School in Shakespeare Avenue, Stonebridge, in the early hours of 8 February.

Paul Minto, 21, of Repton Avenue, Harrow, appeared at Brent Magistrates Court on Saturday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 22 May.

Police have said they believe Mr Callum went to a private birthday party on the school premises.

Two other men, aged 18 and 23, who were arrested in connection with the shooting, have been released on bail until April.

Mr Callum's death is being investigated by detectives from Operation Trident who deal with gun crime in London's black community.
