Two in court over student death

Two teenagers have been remanded in custody, charged with the murder of a 17-year-old A-level student who was stabbed in October 2007.

Rizwan Darbar was stabbed in West Ham Park, Plaistow, east London, after he and his friends were approached by a group of youths.

Rizwan, of Derby Road, Plaistow, died in hospital after a cardiac arrest.

Kirkland Gayle, 19, of Plaistow Road, and Anthony Maina, 19, of Tollgate Road, are due back in court on Monday.

They are due to appear at Stratford Magistrates' Court.

A third teenager, Amos Wahome, 18, of Cridland Street, West Ham, appeared in court last year charged with the same offence. He remains in custody.
