McDonald's branch struck by bus

Three passengers and the driver were hurt

Four people have been hurt after a bus crashed into a restaurant in east London, police have said.

The collision happened in Hoe Street in Walthamstow, at about 0615 GMT, when the double-decker bus went into a branch of McDonald's.

The driver and three passengers have been treated for minor injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said no other vehicle had been involved in the accident which is being investigated by the traffic unit.
