Teenager denies footballer murder

A teenager has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a promising 19-year-old footballer.

Oliver Kingonzila was stabbed to death outside the E Bar in Croydon, south London, on 13 September.

Tristan Burke, 18, of Croydon, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to murder and will stand trial on 20 April.

Oliver was captain of Barnet's under-18 football team and had skippered an England Colleges side in Italy.
