Youth charged over alley murder

A second teenager has been charged with murdering a 24-year-old man shot dead in an alleyway in west London.

Jason Johnson died after being shot in the chest in the alleyway off Cavendish Avenue in West Ealing on 21 November.

A 16-year-old, who cannot be named, has been charged with murder and appeared before West London magistrates, where he was remanded in custody.

Dale Ebanks, 19, from Hanwell, west London, appeared before magistrates last Saturday charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody until 6 March, when he is due to appear at the Old Bailey.

Police also arrested two more male teenagers on Friday on suspicion of murder. One is still being questioned.

A 17-year-old was released on bail but an 18-year-old remains in custody at a west London police station.

Two 17-year-olds and a 21-year-old man have previously been arrested and bailed in connection with the case.
