Tulay Goren
Tulay went missing from Woodford Green in January 1999

Three men have been charged over the disappearance of a schoolgirl from her east London home nearly 10 years ago.

The body of 15-year-old Tulay Goren, who went missing in 1999, has never been found.

Mehmet Goren, 48, of Navestock Crescent, Woodford Green, has been charged with her murder.

Cuma Goren, 41, of Evesham Avenue, and Ali Goren, 55, of Brettenham Road, both Walthamstow, are accused of conspiracy to murder. They are due in court later.

Tulay was reported missing from home on 22 January 1999.

In the same year three men and a woman were arrested and a fourth man was interviewed under caution but no charges followed.

Police have not confirmed whether there is any family relationship between the accused and Tulay.

The three men are due before Redbridge Magistrates' Court later.
