Stylists to tackle breast cancer

 Mark Heyes and Andrew Barton
The popular stylist and hairdresser will revamp shoppers for charity

Two of Britain's well-known style gurus will bring their flair to Croydon, south London, this week as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Centrale shopping centre is hosting Style Live Pink, a three-day event featuring fashion shows and makeovers.

The stars of the show will be GMTV stylist Mark Heyes and 10 Years Younger hairdresser Andrew Barton.

All events are free and both Mr Heyes and Mr Barton will be on hand to offer hair and clothing tips.

Organisers hope shoppers attending the event will donate to breast cancer charities.

Cancer survivors will be among those to be styled by the celebrity experts.

Also on hand for the event - which runs from Thursday to Saturday - will be representatives of Croydon Primary Care Trust and the hair loss charity Head Strong.

Both will offer advice and support to cancer patients dealing with the physical effects of treatment.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women in the UK, with more than 41,000 diagnosed every year.
