Drama shows Polish life in London

A drama about the lives of Polish people living in London, which has already been dubbed "EasternEnders", is to be broadcast in Poland.

Londoners, or Londynczycy, is said to show the divide between rich and poor in the city and how Polish people fit in. It will be shown on Thursday.

Filming of the drama was split between Poland and England.

In London, scenes were shot in Soho, Ealing, the City, Canary Wharf and the West End.

The show explores the loneliness of the main characters, who decided to move to London for different reasons.

Actors starring in the drama are well-known in Poland, according to programme makers, and include Grazyna Barszczewska, Robert Wieckiewicz, Przemyslaw Sadowski and Rafal Mackowiak.

It has been dubbed "EasternEnders" by several British media due to its storylines.
