Employee stabbed to death in shop

A welder has been stabbed to death at the north London shop where he worked.

David Stoute, 54, was found dead at Hornsey Metal Works in Upper Holloway at 2210 BST on Monday. He was the father of four children.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death. No weapon has been recovered and a post-mortem examination took place on Tuesday.

Detectives are keeping an open mind about the motive for the attack, a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said.
