Third youth held over teen murder

Police have made five arrests over the murder of Charles Hendricks

A third 16-year-old boy has been arrested over the murder of a teenager in east London.

Charles Hendricks, 18, was found suffering from stab wounds near Selborne Road, Walthamstow, in the early hours of last Sunday.

He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards in hospital. The cause of death was stab wounds to the chest.

The arrested youth is being held at an east London police station. Two other 16-year-olds boys are also in custody.

Two more males, aged 17 and 19, were arrested and later bailed to return next month, pending further enquiries.
