Escort agency woman is sentenced

A woman who ran an escort agency in north London has walked free from court after receiving a suspended sentence.

Ramune Miniaskiene, 29, admitted conspiracy to control prostitution at the agency's headquarters in Brent.

She received a six month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, at Southwark Crown Court.

Lithuanian-born Ms Miniaskiene was arrested last November in a police raid on 15 addresses across London alleged to have been used as brothels.
