Stabbing death accused in court

Two men charged with the murder of an 18-year-old who was stabbed during a fight have appeared in court.

Melvin Bryan was wounded in the neck and chest during the confrontation at a bedsit in Upper Edmonton, north London, on 10 July.

O'Jay Rodgers, 23, of no fixed abode, and Damion Sealey, 28, of Green Lanes in Finsbury Park, north London, were charged with Mr Bryan's murder.

They were remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on 22 October.

The pair appeared before Redbridge magistrates on Thursday.

Mr Rodgers has also been charged with possession of heroin.

Mr Sealey has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.
