Woman dies after street stabbing

A woman has died after being stabbed in south-east London.

Police were called to Bellenden Road, close to Peckham High Street, in Peckham, on Tuesday night following reports that a woman had been stabbed.

Dee Willis, 28, was taken to hospital suffering a stab wound to the upper body but was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

Next of kin have been informed. No one has been arrested over the stabbing and a post-mortem test will be held soon.
