Paedophile had baby abuse images

A paedophile has been told he faces a long jail sentence after admitting charges of making or distributing child abuse images.

Builder Arthur Morley, 65, a convicted rapist, amassed over 2,000 abuse images of newborn babies and young children.

Morley, of Greenford Road, Greenford, Middlesex, admitted 50 sample offences between January and March this year.

Judge Peter Testar remanded him in custody until 18 June at Southwark Crown Court.

The Judge warned Morley he faced an "indeterminate sentence for public protection".

He said pre-sentence reports would examine the question of his "dangerousness" and the risk he posed to society.
