A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a teenager stabbed to death in south London.

Lyle Tulloch, 15, from Peckham, died when he was attacked in a stairwell at Newall House, Borough, in the early hours of Saturday.

A 16-year-old from Deptford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Sutton Magistrates Court on Friday.

A 17-year-old boy has also been charged with Lyle's murder and appeared in court on Wednesday.

Lyle was found dead at the scene of the stabbing.

A post-mortem examination found he died of stab wounds and haemorrhaging.

Four other youths - aged 15, 16, and two aged 17 - were held on Saturday.

The 17-year-olds and the 16-year-old were released on bail.

No further action will be taken against the 15-year-old, police said.

Lyle was the 12th teenager to be killed in London since the beginning of the year.
