Teenager shot dead is identified

Nicholas Carke was shot in the head
A 19-year-old man who was murdered in south London has been identified by police as Nicholas Clarke.

Mr Clarke, of Ashton House, Chrysell Road in Stockwell, was found with gunshot wounds in Fountain Place in Stockwell, on Saturday.

He died in hospital soon after. A post-mortem examination found his death was due to a gunshot wound to the head.

Officers said they are keeping an open mind about the circumstances and motive of the killing.

No one has been arrested over the murder.
