Man charged over police shooting

Officers were shot at during the incident
A man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder of police officers and possession of a firearm.

Four officers approached two men in Myddleton Avenue, Manor House, north London, on Friday afternoon when one of them shot at the officers.

Shots were also fired at the officers as they gave chase. No officers were injured in the incident.

Carlton Sam, 22, from Hackney, east London is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Monday.
