Police at the scene of the fatal stabbing
Silver Street in Edmonton remains closed after the stabbing
Three teenagers have been arrested over the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in north London.

Student Boduka Mudianga was stabbed during an attack in Silver Street, Edmonton, on Monday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another 18-year-old, who was also stabbed, was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The three arrested over the stabbing are being questioned at various north London police stations.

Police believe there had been a row involving a number of male teenagers prior to the victims being stabbed.

'Circumstances unclear'

A spokesman said: "The circumstances of the incident are unclear at this very early stage.

"It is believed there was an altercation involving a number of males prior to the victims being stabbed. We are keeping an open mind regarding motive."

Police are keen to trace two males wearing hooded tops who were seen running into Warwick Road soon after the stabbings.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said Silver Street would remain closed while forensic experts examined the area.

Mr Mudianga is the third teenager to be killed with a knife since the start of 2008.
