Man held over lorry death crash
A man has been arrested over a crash in north London in which a lorry driver died and a woman was critically hurt.

Police were called to reports of a lorry crashing into a shop after colliding with two cars on the A406 in Neasden on Wednesday afternoon.

The lorry driver, aged 39, died at the scene and a woman was airlifted to hospital where she is critically ill.

A 41-year-old man was later arrested. Police said one of the cars involved failed to stop at the scene.

The male driver of a dark blue coloured Peugeot was treated in hospital for minor injuries and has been discharged.

Detectives said it is believed a silver coloured Vauxhall Zafira was also involved in the accident but did not stop.
