Man was stabbed through the heart
Scene in Brixton where a man was stabbed to death
The victim was known to the shop's owner
A man who was murdered at a greengrocers shop in south London was stabbed through the heart, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

Officers were called to Atlantic Road, Brixton, on Saturday after reports that three men had been attacked.

The murder victim, 26, died at the scene. Police have not yet formally identified him.

Detectives say the attack may be linked to an altercation outside the same premises on Thursday.

No arrests

The other two attacked men were employees at the store.

All the victims are of "middle eastern appearance", police said.

Officers now believe the injured men may have been hit on the head with a blunt instrument.

Officers said the suspects, who are believed to be black men, fled the scene after the attack.

No arrests have been made following the attack but officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident - or the earlier altercation on Thursday - to come forward.
