Sex attacker given four-year term
A man has been jailed for four years for a sex attack on a single mother who killed herself after seeing footage of the attack on a mobile phone.

Hayley Jordan, 21, was stripped and then assaulted at her home in Wheatsheaf Close, Northolt, Middlesex, in August 2005.

The attack took place in front of her children, Isleworth Crown Court heard.

David Hedges, 22, from Oxford Drive, Eastcote, Middlesex, pleaded guilty to sexual assault.

'Scarred for life'

Two other men were jailed earlier this week for the attack.

Kyle Scott, 21, from Newbury Way, Northolt, was jailed for 10 years and Adam Sorrenti, 19, from Raybournemead Drive, Northolt, was sentenced to an indeterminate sentence after they pleaded guilty to the same charge.

Ms Jordan had been invited to Sorrenti's house for a barbecue where she drank two bottles of wine.

He took her back to her home after she fell asleep on the sofa.

Scott and Hedges joined Sorrenti at Ms Jordan's home where all three then attacked her.

Miss Jordan eventually came round but did not find out what had happened to her until police were tipped off Sorrenti had been showing mobile phone footage of the attack.

Ten months later, still traumatised by her ordeal and overwhelmed with despair after her children were taken from her, she overdosed on anti-depressants and alcohol.

In a taped interview played to the court after her death, Miss Jordan told officers her son would be "scarred for life" by what he had witnessed.
