Olympic site demolition work ends
Demolition work has been completed on the site of the so-called big five venues for the 2012 Olympic Games.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) said the number of workers at the site in the Lea Valley, east London, would now increase as construction begins.

About 220 buildings have been demolished, the ODA added.

The five venues are the Olympic Stadium, the Aquatic Centre, the Velopark, the Olympic Village and the media centre.
