'Secret' artwork goes up for sale
Artwork at the RCA
Cards and miniature art work - but whose are they?
Art lovers are being given the chance to take home an original Tracey Emin or Damien Hirst for just £40 at a sale.

The Royal College of Art's Secret Postcard event sees 2,500 works by professionals and students sold to raise money for the college.

Each mini-artwork has been exhibited anonymously at the college for a week.

Buyers only find out if their purchase is by a famous artist or a student after they have bought the cards and read the signature on the back.

The event has run annually since 1994, and become an established date in the calendar of the British art scene.

Previous sales have included postcards by such luminaries as David Hockney, Damien Hirst, Sam Taylor-Wood, David Bailey, Julian Opie, Olafur Eliasson, Tracey Emin, Manolo Blahnik and Sir Paul McCartney.
