A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of teenager Etem Celebi.

Etem, 17, was shot dead in Stoke Newington, north-east London, last Wednesday.

The youth appeared at Thames Youth Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on 27 November.

The teenager is also charged with possessing a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Two others, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, were also arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder.
