Council launches books for Poles
A London council has launched 150 books in response to a growing demand from its Polish community.

Merton Council in south-west London will be making the books available at Wimbledon Library from Saturday.

The literature will include Polish fiction as well as translated English works, suitable for both adults and children.

The council said there are about 6,500 Polish born people living in the borough.
