A man charged with conspiring to kill a 20-year-old woman in a so-called honour killing has been remanded in custody.

Amir Abbass, 22, who is also accused of assisting an offender in the murder of Banaz Mahmod, appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
The body of Miss Mahmod, from south London, whose father was earlier jailed for life for the crime, was found in a suitcase in Birmingham last April.
Mr Abbass, of no fixed address, is to appear at the Old Bailey on 25 January.
In July this year, the victim's father Mahmod Mahmod, 52, and his brother Ari Mahmod, 50, of Mitcham, were jailed for 20 and 23 years respectively for the murder.
A third man, Mohamad Hama, 31, from South Norwood, south London, was sentenced to a minimum of 17 years for his involvement.
