Evidence collected after the death of an actor who fell from a balcony during a party in east London will be re-examined, police have said.
Mark Blanco, 30, of Shoreditch, was fatally injured when fell from the second-floor in Whitechapel.
Officers had ruled out "third-party involvement" in the fall, but the coroner recorded an open verdict and asked police to review the case.
Singer Pete Doherty was questioned as a potential witness over the death.
The incident happened during a party last December.
Dr Andrew Reid, sitting at the Poplar coroner's court, said he could not draw "satisfactory inferences" about the possible involvement of other people from the CCTV evidence provided.
A police spokesman said: "I can confirm at the request of the coroner Andrew Reid, police will now review the investigation."
Mr Blanco's mother, Sheila, said the reopening of the case was "a great relief".
