City bar murder charge withdrawn

Charges against one of three men accused of murdering a City worker have been withdrawn, police said.

The case against Lloyd Moore, 26, from Essex, was dropped on the advice of the Crown Prosecution Service.

Barrister's clerk Lee Cook, 21, from Essex, died after being assaulted at the Alibi Bar in the City on 27 July.

City of London police officer Adam Lowe, 26, from Sawbridgeworth, Herts, and Rick Maynard, 27, from Essex remain on bail until 2 November.
