Man faces court over club murder

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a teenager who was shot in a north London nightclub.

Tristan Walker, 21, is accused of killing Annaka Pinto, from Upper Edmonton, north London, at the Swan pub in Philip Lane, Tottenham, last month.

Mr Walker was remanded in custody until an Old Bailey hearing on 29 October.

Simone Manning, 20, also of Reed Road, Tottenham, was bailed until the same date charged with assisting an offender.

Annaka died in hospital after being shot in the early hours of 23 June.
