Woman held over child mutilation
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of arranging female genital mutilation on two children, police said.

The woman, 36, who was detained in east London, was bailed to return to a north London police station in September.

Police and campaigners are offering 20,000 for information leading to the prosecution of those guilty of carrying out the practice on children in London.

Half of the reward has been put up by the Waris Dirie Foundation, which campaigns to stop the mutilation.
