Pastor Ify Irukwu
Ify Irukwu was a popular figure at her church in Brent Cross
About 10,000 people are expected to attend the memorial service of a popular church pastor.

The 12,000-seat Wembley Arena in north London has been booked to celebrate the life of Pastor Ify Irukwu, who died aged 40, on 4 June from illness.

With her husband Agu, she led services at the 2,000-strong Redeemed Christian Church of God at Brent Cross.

"Ify was a woman of true virtue and character," said Pastor Shola Adeaga, one of the organisers.

"All who came across her testified to the exemplary life she led as a Christian, and to the profound inspiration she was to many both young and old."
