Gift sees Barbie and Ken reunited

A dancing Barbie doll and Doctor Who toys are among gifts which have been declared by Mayor Ken Livingstone.

The toys were supplied by John Lewis, while a doll containing a bottle of vodka came from the Russian ambassador to the UK.

Other gifts declared included a suit from magazine GQ and photographer David Bailey and pens from Bucharest's mayor.

The mayor's latest gifts and hospitality register is from December 2006 to June 2007.

Mr Livingstone also received a Harrods hamper from Sir Gulam and Lady Noon and had dinner with media chief James Murdoch during the six-month period.

There was also a two-night stay at the Hotel Victor in South Beach, Miami, Florida, courtesy of the US National Football League.

He also received 21 tickets for the London Boat show as a gift from the British Marine Federation.

The Bangladesh High Commissioner presented the mayor with a bottle of Hennessey cognac, while Mr Livingstone received a watch from the mayor of Berlin.
