A 13-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of schoolboy Paul Erhahon, 14, in east London.

The youth, who was held in east London on Wednesday, is the sixth teenager to be charged over the fatal stabbing in Leytonstone on 6 April.

He is also charged with the attempted murder of Paul's 15-year-old friend, who was stabbed in the attack.

Meanwhile, Theo Diah, 18, has appeared at Waltham Forest magistrates charged with Paul's murder.

Mr Diah, of Anglian Road, Leytonstone, is charged with Paul's murder and the attempted murder and grievous bodily harm of Paul's friend.

Mr Diah and four teenagers, aged 13, 14, 15 and 17, have been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 24 April.

Detectives have also arrested a 19-year-old man and three boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, who have been bailed until June while further inquiries are carried out.
