Four men arrested this week in connection with the murder of London schoolboy Adam Regis last month have all now been released on bail.

The men aged between 16 and 19 years old were arrested on Thursday night at two properties in east London.

Adam, 15, from Plaistow, was stabbed in the chest and abdomen in Beckton, east London, after a night out at the cinema with friends.

Five other people arrested over the killing have been released on bail.

Adam, the nephew of Olympic sprinter John Regis, was attacked on 17 March at the junction of Boundary Road and Kingsland Road in Plaistow.

He is thought to have been attacked as he made his way home from the Showcase Cinema in Beckton, sometime after 2100 GMT.
