Krystal Hart was shot twice in the head
A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a pregnant woman who was shot in the head.

Thomas Hughes, 40, of Stonells Road in Clapham, south-west London, is accused of shooting 22-year-old Krystal Hart at her home in Battersea.

Ms Hart, who was three months pregnant, was found at her apartment in Belleville Road on Friday.

Mr Hughes was remanded in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court until a hearing at the Old Bailey on 17 July.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Hart died from two gunshot wounds to the head.
