A jury has failed to reach a verdict in the case of a man from south-east London accused of stealing women's shoes during a robbery campaign.
Jurors were discharged after Omar Abd-el-Gowd admitted eight robberies but denied one count of sexual assault.
The Crown will decide on a retrial of the 26 year old from Honor Oak Park, by April 11.
Abd-el-Gowd began targeting women when he arrived from Stockton on Tees to London, Inner London Crown Court heard.
The court previously heard how he targeted women between December 12, 2005, until November 11, 2006.
