Firefighters tackle flats blaze
No-one was hurt in the blaze
About 100 firefighters have been tackling a blaze in a block of flats near the Royal Albert Hall.

They were called to the five-storey block at Kensington Gore in Knightsbridge, central London, at 1038 GMT on Monday, the Fire Brigade said.

A spokesman said they had sent some 20 fire appliances to the scene but there were no reports of anyone being hurt in the incident.

Part of the fifth floor and the roof were alight, the spokesman added.

He said about 30 people had been safely evacuated and roads around the area had been closed to allow fire vehicles access.
