Gas leak causes major disruption
A gas leak has caused major disruption in south-west London.

Police were called to Cedarne Road in Fulham at about 1350 GMT following reports of a gas leak.

Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre was evacuated and trains did not stop at Fulham Broadway tube station following the incident.

About 100 local residents from Walham Green Court were moved to safety. Hammersmith & Fulham Council set up an evacuation centre at the town hall.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.

Engineers from the gas supplier National Grid were at the scene.
