Prisoner jumps wall to escape
Spencer Wellington
Police have been unable to find Spencer Wellington
A suspected drugs offender slipped his handcuffs and then jumped over the walls of a police station to escape.

Spencer Wellington, 25, was in the back of a police van having been arrested on suspicion of possession.

He was being taken to west London's Hammersmith police station when he was able to take off his cuffs and barge past officers when the doors opened.

He then vaulted the walls onto train tracks. Police have urged people not to approach him.

He is described as black, about 5ft 7ins tall, of muscular build, with cropped black shaven hair and brown eyes.

Officers say he uses a number of alias such as Junior Thomas and Sosa Spencer Wellington and is known to frequent the Hammersmith and Fulham areas of London.

Det Insp Gary Townsend said: "Despite immediate searches enquiries by my team to try to trace Spencer Wellington, we have been unable to identify his whereabouts and are appealing for the public to assist us with any information they may have."
