A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a woman found dead in an office shower.

Matthew Fagan, 31, of Gaywood Street, south east London, appeared before Camberwell Green magistrates charged with the murder of Catherine Marlow.

His case was adjourned until 7 May and he was not given bail.

Ms Marlow's body was discovered at offices in Kennington, south London, on 13 January. A post-mortem examination found she had been asphyxiated.

New Zealand-born Miss Marlow, 28, worked as a finance manager at a research company.

She had lived in the UK since 2004.

Mr Fagan is the fourth person to be held in connection with Miss Marlow's killing.

A 26-year-old man has been bailed until 21 February, while Daniel Martin Kennedy, 38, of Dolland House, Newburn Street, Kennington, has been charged with stealing a credit card belonging to the victim.

The day after the murder, a 28-year-old man was arrested but later released without charge.
