Gun death prompts murder inquiry

A murder inquiry is under way after a man was shot dead in the street.

Carlos Eduardo Segove was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting in Acton, west London.

Police and an air ambulance were called to Fletcher Road on Friday night after reports that the 23-year-old victim from Acton had been shot.

Detectives have not named the man and no arrests have been made. A post-mortem examination is due to take place soon.
