Children's dreams to light up sky
Mock up of projection
The children have prepared a series of short videos
The dreams and aspirations of schoolchildren will be projected onto London's South Bank as part of the New Year's Eve celebrations.

Videos recorded by pupils from Johanna Primary School in Lambeth, south London, will feature in the 1.3m spectacle themed "Dreams of London".

The series of short films focuses on topics including Wembley and family.

The display will light up the London Eye and the Shell building from 2000 GMT until the countdown to 2007 begins.

Mayor Ken Livingstone said: "The display will set the scene for another year of events in the most exciting city on earth and the experiences we want people to have in the build up to the 2012 Olympic Games."
