Cargo workers plan airport strike
Cargo workers at several airports will strike over the Christmas period in a dispute over pay, the TGWU has warned.

Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and George Best Airport, Belfast could be hit by the action.

Workers employed by Menzies World Cargo will walk out at 0400 GMT on December 23 until 11am on Christmas Day in protest at an imposed pay rise of 2.7%.

Unions said they were ready to reopen talks with the company "at any point" to resolve the dispute.
